Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and inexperienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn various types of truck driving, including but not limited to operating automatic transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and/or tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Ability to learn a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbed, Stepdeck, low boy, and roll-off trucks.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliances.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- You will be taught on how to maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, brokers, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission vehicles and possibly manual.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types.
- Commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- You need to possess the ability to learn to become familiar with delivery driving that includes safe route driving practices.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Have time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $12,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month
